Pinhole Camera

Pinhole Cameras was a project I did for Ms Finch. It was really difficult to produce a GOOD image. But I guess thats what the project was about, to teach us about exposures and shutter speeds. My best image came from the smallest hole and at 60 seconds. It was fun, but I wish I had more time because my final image could of been sharper. By the way, this design was suppose to be a Transformer called Soundwave, but it look more like soundbite. lol.

Kahran and I went to Suwanee Day. It was real fun to be around a very nice environment with good music, A LOT of your favorite carnival/fair foods and silly crap to spend money on. You can see a few pictures I took here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/30773252@N03/show/with/2883263887/

Dwayne Hills

Ok so I have to front and act like I did this stuff today because I haven't updated my blog lately. So if you don't mind, lol. So here I am in Texas visiting a good friend of ours, Kenya. We all hang out for the day and we hook up with another friend of ours Dwayne Hills. Dwayne Hills is a great photographer who has his work featured online and in magazines. As we all hung out, he was teaching me tips and defining things I didnt know about my camera. He REALLY helped me out so much in such little time. Please check out his work at www.dhillsphotography.com

Hottiest Pepper in Town

I had a school project to do today in Photo Imaging. We had to do a photo composite, which consists of taking an image from one photo and placing it into another without it losing its realism. Dont ask me how I came up with the idea......It just came to me.

Block Party

So the kids had a big back to school block party downtown at the Olympic Park. It was cool, just being there made me realize how much I want a telescoping lens to get in closer to people when I need to. Here go two photos of Yung Tone performing for all the little kiddies, lol.

Little Green Army men

I always told myself that if I ever get a camera that I would take a macro picture of some green army men that you can get at a dollar store. So I go to the Family Dollar store to buy them and out of all the times I see the regular green army men ANYWHERE, they happened to not have them. Instead they had these bootleg army men that looked like hybrid between gobots and the green army men. Was just a bit too cartoonish. But I was pressed for time so I just snatched them and made due. I will redo this picture one day the way I really want it.

My first photo with the XSI

Ok, so my picture sucked. lol. I had major problems with the exposure and the sun was beating down on my face so hard. I took a bunch of photos of this train that was stationary on the tracks and sadly this was the best one. Thank god for photoshop!! Take a look at the processing I did. :)

I FINALLY HAVE A DSLR!!

I finally made a jump from digital camera to digital SLR. Yeah buddy, I always wanted to say "DSLR" and the words "I own" in the same sentence. lol. It will take some time to learn photography because I have no experience with it other than working on photo processing in photoshop. I'm excited about it all, especially to be able to hold a entry level camera in my hand instead of a small point and shoot camera. Every time my girlfriend and I would go out somewhere to hang out, we used to whip out our old camera and then somebody would come around us with a 2000 dollar DSLR and make our camera look like a disposable camera. Well not anymore my friend.

School Project (photo restoration)

Ok so we did photo restoration in class today. I always seen my girlfriend do it in photoshop, and didn't realize how frustrating it could be until I tried my hand at it. It was a fun experience but very challenging. Taking your time is definitely the key to perfection when dealing with a difficult restoration project.
